Description
Recreate the famous Chick-Fil-A peach milkshake at home for a fraction of the cost. This easy, creamy, and delicious recipe uses simple ingredients like vanilla ice cream, whole milk, and canned peaches to deliver authentic fast-food flavor in under five minutes.
Ingredients
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream (softened)
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 cup canned peach slices (drained)
- 2 tablespoons peach nectar (optional)
- Whipped cream (for topping)
- Maraschino cherry (for garnish)
Instructions
- Open the can of peach slices and drain them thoroughly. Chop large slices into smaller chunks if necessary, and set aside 3-4 slices for garnish.
- Scoop 2 cups of vanilla ice cream into a blender. If the ice cream is too hard, let it sit on the counter for 10-15 minutes to soften.
- Pour in the 1/2 cup of whole milk, the drained peach chunks, and the peach nectar (if using).
- Blend on low speed for about 30 seconds, then increase to medium-high. Blend for another 30-45 seconds until smooth and creamy. Do not over-blend.
- Check consistency; add a splash of milk if too thick or more ice cream if too thin.
- Pour into chilled glasses, top with whipped cream and a reserved peach slice, and serve immediately.
Notes
For the best texture, ensure the ice cream is softened before blending to prevent melting too quickly. Avoid using ice cubes as they dilute the flavor. If using frozen peaches, you may need to add a little more milk. For a dairy-free version, substitute with coconut milk ice cream and almond milk.
